About the Project
FIRE strengthens water security in drought-prone villages by restoring local water systems, training village water committees, and creating long-term community-led conservation models.
Problem Statement
Recurring drought cycles and falling groundwater levels reduce crop output, trigger distress migration, and increase health risks due to unsafe water access.
Solution Model
A village-level water resilience model combining Jal Mandir structures, check-dams, contour trenches, and governance training for local maintenance teams.
