Cancellation & Refund Policy
Clear, transparent, and compliant guidelines regarding all financial contributions, memberships, and event fees.
As a registered Section 8 non-profit organization under the Companies Act, 2013, Jeednyasa Foundation processes various types of financial contributions to sustain our social objectives. We have instituted a strict, transparent Cancellation & Refund Policy to ensure operational efficiency while respecting our contributors.
1. General Donations
Donations made to the Jeednyasa Foundation are utilized directly for social upliftment projects.
- Non-Refundable: As a strict policy, all general, one-time, or recurring donations are final and non-refundable.
- Tax Exemption: Donations are eligible for tax deductions under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. A receipt fulfilling these requirements is generated upon successful payment.
- Erroneous Debits: If your account is debited twice due to technical anomalies, the foundation will initiate a refund for the duplicate transaction upon verification within 7 to 10 working days.
2. Corporate & Project Sponsorships
Sponsorships provided by corporations via CSR channels or by individuals targeting specific projects (e.g., medical camps, school adoptions).
- Refunds are only entertained if the designated project has completely failed to initiate due to operational constraints on the foundation's end.
- A formal cancellation request must be raised by the sponsor within 7 days of the transaction.
3. Membership Fees
Fees collected during the registration of new members to the Jeednyasa Foundation network.
- Non-Refundable: Membership registration and recurring subscription fees are strictly non-refundable once the membership status is activated in our system.
- Transfers: Although refunds are not granted, membership transfers to another individual may be considered on a highly exceptional, case-to-case basis at the board's discretion.
4. Event & Training Fees
Ticket purchases or registration charges for physical/virtual workshops, seminars, and fundraising galas.
- Refunds are granted fully if the foundation cancels or indefinitely postpones the event.
- No refunds will be issued for a participant's inability to attend or absentia on the day of the event.
